Details: Are you ready for an adventure? This week we will paddle the EAST Branch of the DuPage river from Hidden Lake Forest Preserve to Whalen Lake in Plainfield. We have not done this river in several years but I have been told it is free of blockages all the way down to the take out. Car shift will be at 10 am. Bring lunch, bug spray, water, etc. PFD's must be worn while on the water. Hidden Lake Forest Preserve is at the corner of Butterfield Rosd (Rt. 56) and Route 53 directly across from a Walmart. Follow the road to the far end of the parking lot on your right after entering the preserve. Please RSVP via email if you plan to paddle and include a phone number in case of last minute changes.
