Co-Leader: TBD Location: Cherry Valley, IL to Atwood Park Skill Level: beginner Category: paddling event Details: Meet at the Baumann Park boat launch at 9:30 am to unload you boat and gear. Car shuttle promptly at 10:00. This stretch of river is 8.5 miles long and is rated beginner level at normal water levels.
Wear quickdry/fleece clothing and bring a waterproof dumpbag with a second set of clothes (just in case). A PFD (lifejacket) must be worn on the trip. Bring a snack/lunch and water as we will take a short break about half way through the trip.
