Category: Day Trip Details: Join us for a traditional kick-off on the DuPage: the annual Soup Trip. Weather and water can make a big difference, especially at this time of the year. Plan to dress for conditions. The upper stretch of the river twists for miles through Timber Ridge Forest Preserve, so decent boat control skills can be important. Don't forget the soup! Lunch at Lions Park in Winfield is a communal affair, Bring a can of some non-cream variety that will mix in the pot. Bring your own beverage, side dish, bowl and spoon.
