Date: May 7, 2022 Leader: Ray Ziemer Co-Leader: Location: DuPage River from Eaton Preserve to Rivertowne Parkway Skill Level: Beginner Category: Day Trip Details: Easy (7 mile) paddle through historic areas of Plainfield. From Eaton Preserve we visit Electric Park, the site of Blackhawk War - era Fort Beggs and one of the earliest settlements in DuPage. We will paddle through quiet countryside hidden from busy Route 59 traffic and take out at the boat launch south of Renwick Road. Bring PFD (must wear on water) and lunch.
