Date: Wednesday, October 25, 2023 Leader: Scott Seifrid Location: Fox River @ Sheridan Skill Level: Beginner Category: Day paddle Details: We will be paddling the Fabulous Fox Water Trail from Sheridan to Wedron, IL.
Participants will paddle approximately 12 miles on the lower portion of the Fabulous Fox Water Trail.
The trail offers scenic beauty, including St. Peter Sandstone bluffs and a beautiful view of the changing leaves in Northern Illinois.
It is important to come prepared with water, lunch, snacks, a personal flotation device (PFD), sunscreen, bug spray, and enough cash for put-in/take-out fees.
Dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
Safety is emphasized, and PFDs must be worn at all times while on the water.
Car shift is 10:00.
