Details: We train, not just for ourselves, but to help others—the people we paddle with. By learning rescue skills, you are preparing to support your team or paddling community during their most difficult moments on the water. It’s a powerful investment in your safety and in the safety of those around you.
Why it matters—every paddling trip is a team effort, and when things go wrong, being prepared is key. Knowing how to act quickly and confidently in an emergency could make all the difference.
This interactive class will provide a hands-on opportunity to learn and practice the following:
Throw Ropes—practice assorted throws, coils and improving distance and accuracy
Anchors—how to make and set up several types of anchors
Mechanical Advantage—learn how to set up several systems, including vectors, 3:1, z-drag
Do something great for yourself and your team. Investing in rescue training is a powerful step for your own safety and your team’s well-being. It’s the best way to ensure everyone is ready for whatever may come your way.
