Join us at Voyageur's Landing Forest Preserve on the Fox River in Kane County to paddle, get acquainted, and eat lunch. Bring your own equipment (including your properly fitting PFD), your lunch, a camp chair or blanket, drinking water, and a change of clothes in case you get wet (it happens). We’ll paddle downstream to the Elgin Library, then paddle back to Voyageur’s for lunch – about 4 miles. (No car shift; we'll leave promptly at 10, so please give yourself enough time to unload your stuff.)
Location: One mile east of Route 31, Just north of I-90, and at the east end of Airport Road. https://shorturl.at/drZfP Site offers an easy launch, picnic area, and restroom.
