Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025 Leader: Rich Rothrock Location: Eleanor Boathouse, Chicago Skill Level: Advanced beginner Category: Day paddle trip Details: We will meet at Eleanor Boathouse at Park 571 which has an address of 2754 S. Eleanor Street, Chicago. Approximately two blocks east of Ashland Ave. on Archer Ave. turn north on Lock Street. Follow Lock Street two blocks north and arrive at Eleanor Street. NO CAR SHIFT. Plenty of free parking. Tentative plan is to paddle northward to Ping Tom Park, and possibly further north as far as Wolf Point. Then return southward. Bring PFD, water and lunch. Launch at 10:00 a.m.
