Details: We will paddle from Hammel Woods down to Channahon State Park. I have checked with Friends of the DuPage River who have stated it is safe to paddle this stretch for those who have good command of their craft. Attendees should know how to avoid strainers and pillows along with enjoying wave trains and haystacks. The lunch stop is primitive at the IC railroad tracks. Please bring plenty of water, food and sunscreen.
PFD's are required.
