7 Paddlers enjoyed the day paddling the West Branch of the Dupage River from Lions Park, Winfield to McDowell Grove in Naperville. Water level was up due to the rain earlier in the week. The sun was so bright, we had to wear shades. Temps near 60 deg. Heard numerous birds and peepers. Saw ducks, geese, red headed woodpeckers, robins, cardinals, a hawk and a Great Blue Heron. All in all, a great day to be on the water!
