On Saturday, March 26, 2016 five paddlers  (3 kayaks, 2 canoes) paddled along the South Branch of the KIshwaukee River.  Our put in was at Rt. 64 and ended 9.4 miles later at Baseline Road.  A beautiful sunny day with a good current and nice tailwind.  Lots of bird songs along with sightings of blue herons, Canada geese (nesting), mallards, turkey vulture and a red tail hawk.
