What a great Spring Day in the dead of Winter. The sun was bright and the sky blue Ahhhhhh But, as always, good friends make a GREAT trip. This stretch of the Kish offers a variety of paddle challenges, it's definitely not a sleeper paddle. Many song birds were out and about, as well as the usual waterfowl. Interestingly, we were playing 'river hop scotch' with a bald eagle, usually its the blue heron. Also sighted was a mink or beaver. Pretty Neat We ended the day with some real fine chili in Cherry Valley Yummy! Thanks to Gary H for scouting this section earlier this week for ice conditions. Thanks to Gary H & Sue L for shuttling drivers.
